Here is the latest from The Reward Foundation…

The board, volunteers and friends of The Reward Foundation – Our Brain on Love and Sex, are delighted to announce the relaunch of the new website. It is an evidence-based resource for love and sex relationship education.

We ask:

  • What is love?
  • How does internet pornography affect the brain?
  • Why is the adolescent brain especially sensitive to internet pornography?
  • How to quit porn and build resilience?

While aimed primarily at the adults and institutions responsible for young people, it has something for everyone. With help from a group of young people, primarily from George Heriot’s school, we are in the process of developing a part of the website aimed specifically at young people themselves.

Mary and Darryl have just produced the first Reward Foundation research paper, The Relationship between Internet Pornography and Adolescent Dating, Romantic Relationships and Sexual Behaviors.  It looks at developments in this field in the past five years.  This paper is currently out for peer-review prior to publication.

We have worked hard to bring you a resource that will be both practical as well as inspiring. We invite you to take a look. Feel free to join up to the e-newsletter and/or to follow us on  twitter @brain_love_sex. Tell others about it.
